Terms of Service

1. The Service

Gurway Technologies Inc. ("Gurway") provides a technology platform that connects riders seeking transportation with independent drivers. Gurway is a technology intermediary — it is not a transportation company and drivers are independent contractors, not Gurway employees.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement to use Gurway. By using the service you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@gurway.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

You may not create more than one rider account or use another person's account. Accounts found to be fraudulent will be terminated without notice.

4. Rider Conduct

When using the Gurway service you agree to:

• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Treat drivers with respect and not engage in abusive, discriminatory, or threatening behaviour
• Not carry prohibited items (illegal substances, unlicensed weapons)
• Not tamper with or damage the driver's vehicle
• Wear a seatbelt for the duration of every trip
• Pay all applicable fares and fees

5. Pricing and Payment

Fares are calculated and presented to you before you confirm a booking. By confirming, you agree to pay the displayed fare plus any applicable fees (e.g. cancellation fees, cleaning charges).

Gurway may charge a cleaning fee of up to $150 if a driver reports that a rider has soiled or damaged their vehicle. Evidence is reviewed before any charge is applied.

6. Cancellations

Cancellations made within 2 minutes of booking are free. After that, a cancellation fee may apply. Fees are displayed in the app at the time of cancellation.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and software associated with the Gurway platform are owned by or licensed to Gurway Technologies Inc. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gurway's liability for any claim arising out of your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the trip that gave rise to the claim. Gurway is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Termination

Gurway may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a safety risk to drivers or other users.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Gurway Technologies Inc. is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Gurway after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be notified 14 days in advance via the app or email.
